In sizing up this room, I had 19.5' of length to work with, so I used a 2 piece 10 ft laminate conference table, which left enough room for a storage door WOOD conference credenza. The credenza ships fully assembled and is one reason I choose this particular one, it also has same reeded edge profile so it blends nicely with the table. Most laminate desk companies do not offer an all storage door credenza in this price range, and I certainly don't want one that would ship knocked down, needing assembly.

 

I have 8 mesh back chairs around the table so they have more space and have placed a few additional chairs around the room to use as needed. This is the nicest conference room chair for the $ I have found near $200, has solid chrome base with heavy duty knee action tilt lock mechanism. In this tight shot above you can see the neoprene arm caps which are essential for style and durability, plus protect the table against nicks caused by a harder arm surface. The mesh back is very stylish and the overall impression here is very clean.

Why did I stop in today at Arhaus Furniture near Inner Harbor?

Because I had a request for a love seat, maybe 2 for the top executive of one of my clients, and I felt they might have what they wanted. It had to be "snoozable", comfy, stylish, handsome, and well made. They had just what I think he was looking for. I was able to check out about 8 samples of fabric, I felt might work based on his decor. I phoned him while I was there and gave him dimensions and idea of cost, ALL GOOD!

Then I took picture and sent it to him , explaining the details and why I chose this for him. It had a low enough arm height, and rolled option (and I tried it out!) that it gave perfect neck support, while being easy to flop legs over the other end. Most commercial lounge seating tend to be scaled down, even if not, most sit VERY FIRM. So not a good match for someone desiring a "CAT NAP"!

I got an extra 5% to be able to make something for my efforts. Before and after of the loveseats and bench I was contracted to reupholster. This for a health care outpatient facility that had a limited budget. You can see original cushions were brown fabric and soiled. In progress picture shows each old cushion being wrapped in layer of dacron fiber to insure smooth upholstery and better sit of cusion. We added a strip of breathable fabric to the rear of the cushion to allow the air to escape and for vinyl to be able to stretch, this insures a much better sit and longer life for the new cushions and material. I was able to transform my customers waiting room furniture for half what new would have cost.
